Blushrooms

Blushrooms are a type of mushroom and is grown in Dragon Parks to feed dragons. They are healthy for both humans and dragons though both don't like the taste. They grow in some forests too, like the Forests of Farn.

Characteristics

Blushrooms are, as the name suggests, blue, and they glow in the dark. The taste has not been described yet, but it is all but delicious. Neither humans or dragons like to eat them. They also smell horribly.

This is because they're not meant to be eaten. They glow to attract insects who will come and spread their spores.

Magical Properties

Blushrooms are the healthiest treat of all, but are still rarely used because it doesn't nourish the dragons that much and because of its awkward taste and smell. Fireflies love this taste though!

History

Blushrooms were already known by the Ancients who used it a punishment: bad children were forced to eat one of them. Later, it was discovered these mushrooms were very healthy, though, but we still aren't adapted to like the taste and smell.
